At “PechaKucha Night 2012 | Creative Design City Nagoya, presenters numbering +/-20 will explain their projects and ideas in the simple 20 images x 20 seconds format. This time’s theme is “city”. With this symposium, in which participants fulfill the goals above, we will also work with local companies, creators and researchers to introduce the activities of other Network cities of design. Tea breaks will serve to facilitate diverse exchange both between presenters and attendees on the floor and among attendees. PechaKucha Night 2012 | Creative Design City Nagoya will provide an opportunity for multidisciplinary networking.

* The first PechaKucha Night, initiated by Tokyo-based Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham of Klein Dytham architecture was held in 2003. The term pechakucha is an onomatopoetic Japanese term meaning chitchat. Tokyo-born PechaKucha Night has gone global and has been held in more than 400, cities including New York, Paris and London.
