About “Architectural Gymnastics”

Kenchiku Taiso is a form of gymnastics designed to depict architecture. In this workshop, participants, while watching clips of architecture, expressed architectural shapes with their bodies. Translated into physical expression were not only outer forms, but also structure, utility and first impressions. The key is the participant’s passionate devotion to scanning, understanding and loving architecture.
Families and other groups were encouraged to express architecture together.
