Concept

In Japan, we have a culture of wholehearted, intentional paper folding, whether we’re making origami cranes or special gift envelopes. To bring an understanding of this culture to visitors from overseas, we came up with a product that involves both paper and folding. Although it’s usually a ticket case, when it’s opened out it can function as an A4-sized bag. The product itself serves as a sign facilitating communication with other visitors or citizens, and it functions as a signpost both literally (thanks to the attached grip compass) and figuratively, evoking fond memories.
